About Alaska Business Week

Alaska Business Week (ABW) runs one-week programs teaching Alaskan high school students the basics of business, leadership and entrepreneurship. Participants work as teams in a dynamic business simulation with the guidance of a mentor from the business community. After completing the program, students have a competitive edge on workplace readiness, college preparation, and overall life success. ABW gives participants the tools they will need to succeed after their high school graduation.

Starting in 2017 ABW is offering two programs, one Statewide summer program and one Mat-Su specific program.

Statewide program: July 15- 22, 2017 at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, AK (this is an overnight stay on campus program open to students across the state)

Mat-Su program: July 31 - August 5, 2017 at Palmer High School in Palmer, AK (this program runs from 8 am - 5 pm daily and is open to Mat-Su students)

Did you participate in a past Alaska Business Week? If so, we would love to hear what you are up to now, share your success stories and get you involved in the program in additional ways.
